About MVPA

A physician-led network anchored by Knapp Medical Center.

MVPA was founded in 1996 to facilitate collaborative managed-care contracting between Knapp Medical Center and community physicians.

Today we represent independent doctors across the Mid Rio Grande Valley, partnering with commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed-care, and workers’ compensation plans so member physicians can keep their attention where it belongs: patient care.
